Frequently Asked Questions

For any unanswered questions or if you seek additional clarity, we invite you to contact us.. We value transparency and are here to provide the information you need.

The mission of The Compassion Collective is to foster inclusivity, compassion, self-discovery, and community actualization. We envision a future where every individual, irrespective of neurodivergence or background, experiences a profound sense of belonging. Our aim is to create a thriving and interconnected community where every voice contributes to the co-creation of a supportive and compassionate environment.

The Compassion Collective operates on the principles of emergent strategies, Synpraxis, and a commitment to consent-based decision-making. We believe in creating a space where every voice matters, and our approach ensures that every member is not just acknowledged but actively valued. Our holarchical generative system design promotes collaboration, shared responsibility, and adaptive structures. Through our unique methodology, we empower individuals to navigate the intersections of neurodivergence, mental health, and substance use challenges, fostering a supportive environment for self-discovery and collective well-being.

This endeavor is propelled by community input, crafting its course through an emergent strategy. Decision-making is a collaborative process, grounded in proposals and consent. Our ongoing projects encompass collective governance, peer support, fundraising, grant seeking, membership inclusion, and partnerships. Members are encouraged to engage in various initiatives such as podcasts, virtual events, advocacy, peer support, and workshops. It's noteworthy that, at present, there are no proposals for direct service work, notwithstanding the participation of members who are DSPs.

Presently, our organization operates on a volunteer basis as we finalize our nonprofit entity status. We are actively working on formulating an equity proposal to ensure fair structuring of labor involved in running and providing services within the collective. To achieve this goal, we are in the initial stages of establishing an equity circle dedicated to the development of this proposal .Feel free to reach out to us if you are keen on becoming a part of the collective and contributing to the equity circle.

Currently, the founder serves as the sole funder of this nonprofit. However, we welcome and appreciate donations from those who wish to support our mission. Please reach out to us if you are interested in contributing to the funding of The Compassion Collective.
